Milan, 11 April (LaPresse) – A rampant Jannik Sinner has reached the final of the “Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters” for the first time in his career. This is the third “1000” tournament of the season, with a prize fund of €6,309,095, and is being played on the clay courts of the Monte-Carlo Country Club in the Principality of Monaco. The Italian, ranked number 2 in the world and top seed, easily defeated Germany’s Alexander Zverev, ranked number 3 in the world and second seed, in straight sets in the semi-final, winning 6-1, 6-4 in just 1 hour and 22 minutes of play on his first match point. Sinner becomes the tenth Italian to reach the final of the Monte Carlo ATP Tournament; it is also his fourth consecutive final in a Masters 1000 tournament. In the final, Sinner awaits the winner of the second semi-final between Carlos Alcaraz and Monegasque player Valentin Vacherot.
