Rome, 19 May (LaPresse) – According to the official Iranian news agency IRNA, Iran’s recent proposal to the United States calls for “the lifting of sanctions against Tehran, the unfreezing of Iranian funds and an end to the naval blockade imposed on the country”. This was explained by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi. The proposal also includes an end to the war on all fronts, “including Lebanon”, “the withdrawal of US forces from areas near Iran and compensation for war damages”.
