Lebanon, Aoun: “Negotiations with Israel continue, talks are better than war”

Rome, June 1 (LaPresse) – Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said that negotiations with Israel are ongoing. “Negotiations may face obstacles or delays in reaching the set objective, but they are nonetheless progressing,” his words as reported by Al Jazeera. According to Aoun, although negotiation is “safer than war,” it will not “solve the problem in a matter of moments and we have no other choice.”
