Rome, 2 June (LaPresse) – The death toll from the Russian attack carried out overnight on Ukraine using ballistic missiles and drones has risen to 17, with over 100 injured. The updated toll is provided by the Kiev Independent. According to the head of the capital’s military authority, Timur Tkachenko, at 12 noon local time the toll in the capital stands at 6 dead and 64 injured, but – he writes on his Telegram channel – “in several locations, rescue workers and emergency services are still working to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack on Kyiv”. In Dnipro, 11 people, including a child, have been killed; a further six people are still missing, and search operations are continuing in a partially destroyed four-storey building.
