The directives of the Supreme Leader played a fundamental role in the inclusion of provisions aimed at safeguarding Iran’s national interests, for which we are grateful,” Pezeshkian added, commenting on the agreement with the United States. “The memorandum of understanding that has been drafted is the result of months of dialogue and continuous follow-up in this regard and, if all its provisions are properly implemented, it can be considered a source of pride for the country. I must thank my brothers, Dr. Ghalibaf and Dr. Araghchi, and all those who contributed to this effort.”
