Rome, 25 June (LaPresse) – “This morning, the Ukrainian Security Services struck two oil refineries in Ufa: Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim and Bashneft-Novoil. They are located 1,500 kilometres from the front line.” Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on X, stating that Kyiv’s long-range operations are “precise and consistent responses to Russia’s strategy of prolonging the war and attacking Ukrainian cities and communities”. Last night, units of the Defence Forces struck the Poltavska oil depot in the Krasnodar region, some 300 kilometres from the front line, Zelensky noted. “We are implementing our plan for ‘long-range sanctions’. I would like to thank all the Ukrainian soldiers who ensure our precision. The Russians should be thinking about genuine diplomacy, rather than trying once again to deceive others or buy time. The war must end,” the Ukrainian leader concluded.
