La Guaira (Venezuela), 29 June (LaPresse/AP) – Venezuela’s interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, has announced the establishment of a special commission to assess damage to buildings and determine whether it is safe for people sleeping rough to return to them. Her government, she said, will also assess the damage to infrastructure, and the search for survivors amongst the rubble will continue. “Today we have rescued people who are still alive,” she said. “Let us never lose hope.”
