Rome, 8 July (LaPresse) – “When we visited the Quirinale with the volleyball team, Manfredi and I invited the President of the Republic to come and watch the Men’s European Volleyball Championship. Today I received a phone call from his office and I can announce that Mattarella will be in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples on 10 September for the opening match between Italy and Sweden.” This was announced by CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio at the presentation of the Men’s European Volleyball Championships.
