Rome, 20 Oct. (LaPresse) – “As far as we are concerned, defending the welfare state also means ensuring order and security. That is why, this evening in the Council of Ministers, we will be taking a number of decisions to guarantee free trade in the city of Milan and in all other cities.” This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, on the sidelines of the ‘Welfare Italia’ event in Rome. “Seeing so many shops closed in Milan yesterday was heartbreaking for anyone who cares about freedom of trade,” added the secretary of Forza Italia, who explained: “Today there will be very firm responses from the government, including the deployment of 500 military personnel in the city of Milan, who will have judicial police powers to ensure security and free trade.”
