EU, Mattarella: ‘Let us be united to resist external and internal attacks’

Rome, 6 June (LaPresse) – "Europe must be united, even more efficient, resisting attacks from outside and inside, from those who cultivate the desire to return to the confrontation between nationalisms, to conditions that dangerously resemble those of the world of past centuries. This is Europe's task. And Italy's task within Europe, it seems to me, but it is the goal of rebuilding a climate, a condition, a system that will ward off the temptations that are currently terrifying us so badly."
