Kate is attending a ceremony at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, where the end of the First World War is commemorated with two minutes of silence. Queen Camilla is at Paddington Station in London for a wreath-laying ceremony, having travelled by train from Chippenham in Wiltshire. The Prince of Wales, William, recorded a video message sharing his views on the importance of wearing a red poppy and stating that “remembrance is for everyone”. The message was broadcast this morning during the Royal British Legion’s commemorative assembly and at various events across the country for children aged 9 to 14. Later, William will join the King and Queen at Windsor Castle, where a reception will be held in honour of veterans who served in the Pacific during the Second World War.
