Milan, 22 Oct. (LaPresse) – “We’re starting to pay thousands and thousands of businesses. We’ve listened to everyone, and I’ll meet everyone again, the big ones and even those with only one truck, in Milan, as in Foggia, as in Caserta. If reports of threats, tire cuts, seizures, assaults, and violence continue, we’ll move on to another front there; that’s not transportation and high diesel prices. If there is any criminal infiltration among the many good workers who rightly protest that we are listening and whose problems we are solving, we will move to public order, because roadblocks that harm other workers are a crime and therefore will be treated as such.” This was stated by Transport Minister Matteo Salvini on the sidelines of the Council of Ministers meeting, which will define the measures to support truck drivers.
